← For some reason Country Area bus maps were undated from February 1954 until August 1957, but from the imprint this is the issue of October 1956—however London Transport still referred to it as the issue of October 1954 and produced an amendment leaflet thus headed! This loose-leaf is inserted into the map. The amendment leaflet is dated May 1957.

446 1040F. 20M
← Green Line services resumed after the war in February 1946, so this is a very early example of the map and details of the coach services, now numbered in the 7×× series. It is printed in blue, rather than the later green, and with no frills due to austerity conditions.
September 1946

1947 Nº 1
← The first of the “proper” post-war Green Line maps, this has the main map on one side with several outer and inner area continuation maps on the other. It includes an abbreviated index to places served, but no list of routes. This style of cover was only issued in 1947 and 1948.
