November 2009		 Hi Here we have a London Transport bus stop sign. It is in a very good condition and is quite weighty. It is from route 114. Sign is double sided and has the same route number on both sides.

I don’t know what the problem was here, as this sign was “sold” twice, then relisted a third time at 99p but received no bids.

June 2009		 Great London Bus Stop Sign, I have had this sign for approx 15 years, it also has the Fare Stage Bracket. The Sign is 21" in height x 18" in width. Will arrange either collection with buyer or buyer pays for delivery due to weight. Pretty good condition, has the expected 'dings'. I was going to put it on my shed originally, would be great for collector.

August 2008		 Enamel London Transport compulsory (white) bus stop flag

This item is from the 1990s era, and was placed on posts to identify to drivers and passengers a bus stopping location.

Vinyls stickers for routes 135 and C2 are placed on this flag, on both sides, which suggests the flag came from the Camden Town area of London.

It is in MINT condition.

September 2009		 This was fixed to a lamp column in Westminster Bridge Road till a vehicle hit it and the column and bus stop flag were removed.   There is quite a dent on the top of the flag and All in all it is abit ragged but some might say that adds to its character.   Would much prefer personal collection as this is bulky and heavy.   Please contact me if you have any queries.  Cheers

October 2007		 London Transport Bus Stop (Flag) Sign
Here is a unique opportunity to own a piece of London Transport history and memorabilia.
This is a genuine London Transport "Request" bus stop sign (also know as a flag) which was located at one of the bus stops along Cherry Orchard Road in Croydon, Surrey, (close to East Croydon railway station). These signs were numerous in their thousands right across the LT operating area until they were phased out by newer versions in the mid 90's which also showed a location name on the bus stop face.
This "Request" bus stop displays vinyl stickers for route 197 - West Croydon to Norwood Junction and route 312 - South Croydon Garage to Peckham. (These routes were altered in 2006/2007 hence the history). At this time route 410 was not in existance hence its omision from the sign.
Being a used item there is slight wear and tear damage to both faces as can be seen in both pictures.
This aside, it is an excellent example of London Transport's "street furniture" and would add to or enhance any transport enthusiasts collection or even make an excellent souvenir of London.

July 2008		 For auction a LONDON TRANSPORT BUS SIGN with its separate DESTINATION SIGN. I bought this from camden market in the mid / late 1980's. There is some chipping to the enamel, which should be seen from the photographs, If you want any further information, please contact me, and I will try and help.

Weight is 14 kilo's approx.
Size of the top sign is 20 3/4" H x 18" W x 2 3/4" at the broad end, approx.
Size of the destination sign is 15" H, approx, other dims. same
